From a weekend spreadsheet frustration to an enterprise engine

In 2023, our founders were running distributed engineering teams across three continents. Every month end was a nightmare: overtime rules differed by country, 13th month bonuses required manual pro-rata spreadsheets, and tax formulas constantly changed.

We realized traditional payroll software was built for 1995 desktop computers, not modern agile companies. We built OrbitHR: an API-first, mobile-connected payroll engine that executes complete payroll runs in under 60 seconds with zero margin for error.
